These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Homesteaders Circle.

By creating an account or using Homesteaders Circle, you agree to these Terms and the Community Guidelines.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create or use a Homesteaders Circle account. By using the service, you represent that you are at least 18; you have authority to agree to these Terms; your use of the service is lawful; and information you provide is materially accurate. We may restrict or terminate accounts that do not meet eligibility requirements.

2. Purpose of the Service

Homesteaders Circle helps adults discover and communicate with other members for purposes including dating and relationships, friendship, homesteading connections, and skill sharing.

Homesteaders Circle does not guarantee that you will receive matches, that another member will respond, compatibility, a relationship, friendship, or any particular outcome.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account. You agree not to share access credentials improperly; access another person’s account without authorization; create deceptive or fraudulent accounts; circumvent account restrictions; or interfere with service security. Notify support if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Accurate Profiles and Conduct

You agree to provide reasonably accurate information about yourself and your intentions. You must comply with the Homesteaders Circle Community Guidelines. Prohibited conduct includes, among other things: harassment; threats; stalking; hate or discriminatory abuse; fraud; financial scams; impersonation; spam; unwanted sexual behavior; explicit unsolicited content; exploitation; attempts to involve minors; and unauthorized disclosure of another person’s private information.

5. Connection Intentions

Members may identify their intentions as dating, friendship, both, Homestead Connection, or Skill Swap where available. A connection request does not create an obligation to communicate, meet, date, provide assistance, teach a skill, or continue a relationship. Members must respect each other’s stated intentions and boundaries.

6. Important Member Safety

Homesteaders Circle cannot guarantee the identity, intentions, statements, background, character, or behavior of another member. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Homesteaders Circle does not represent that all members have undergone criminal-background, identity, professional-license, or other independent verification. Use judgment when communicating with or meeting other members.

Consider and take the highest safety measures by meeting in public initially, telling someone you trust where you will be, keeping control of your transportation, protecting your home address, and avoiding financial transactions with people you have recently met. Never assume that use of Homesteaders Circle makes an interaction risk-free.

7. Homesteading and Skill Information

Members may discuss or exchange knowledge involving homesteading activities. Homesteaders Circle does not verify the accuracy, safety, qualifications, or professional competence of member-provided advice. Activities involving animals, food preservation, machinery, construction, electrical systems, agriculture, firearms, chemicals, medical issues, and other hazards can create serious risks. You remain responsible for determining whether information is safe and appropriate before acting on it. Exercise caution involving all activities.

8. Member Content

You retain ownership of content you submit, subject to rights necessary for Homesteaders Circle to operate the service. You grant Homesteaders Circle a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, display, and process your submitted content as reasonably necessary to operate the service, display your profile, deliver messages, provide member recommendations, maintain safety, investigate reports, and comply with law. This license ends when the content is deleted except where continued retention is reasonably necessary or legally permitted.

9. Private Messaging

Private messaging is available to qualifying connected members. Messages must comply with these Terms and the Community Guidelines. Homesteaders Circle may restrict messaging when a connection ends, a user blocks another member, an account is suspended, an account is banned, or membership entitlement expires where applicable. Authorized personnel may review limited message content when reasonably necessary for reports, safety investigations, legal compliance, or enforcement.

10. Memberships and Subscriptions

Certain Homesteaders Circle features require a paid membership. Initial membership options may include: 3 Months — $33 every 3 months; 6 Months — $55 every 6 months; and 12 Months — $88 every 12 months.

Prices shown in the app or applicable app store control at the time of purchase. Subscriptions are intended to automatically renew for the selected subscription period unless cancelled through the applicable Apple App Store or Google Play subscription-management system. Taxes or platform-specific pricing may apply where required.

11. Cancellation

You may cancel an auto-renewing subscription using the subscription-management tools provided by Apple or Google, as applicable. Cancellation generally stops future renewal but does not necessarily end access immediately. Access may continue through the remaining paid subscription period unless the purchase is refunded or revoked. Deleting a Homesteaders Circle account does not necessarily cancel an Apple or Google subscription. You are responsible for managing store subscriptions separately.

12. Refunds

Purchases made through Apple or Google are subject to the applicable platform’s payment, refund, and billing rules. Homesteaders Circle cannot guarantee approval of a refund controlled by an app-store platform.

13. Blocking, Reporting, and Moderation

Members may block or report others. Homesteaders Circle may investigate suspected violations and may take actions including warning, content restriction, profile hiding, temporary suspension, and permanent ban. We are not required to disclose confidential moderation information, the identity of reporters, security methods, or internal investigation details.

14. Suspension and Termination

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access when we reasonably believe an account violates these Terms; violates Community Guidelines; creates safety or security risks; engages in fraud or abuse; attempts to circumvent restrictions; or is legally required to be restricted. Where appropriate, account information may be retained as permitted by applicable law and our Privacy Policy.

15. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account through the app or the applicable account-deletion webpage. Deletion is subject to applicable retention requirements described in the Privacy Policy. Deletion does not automatically cancel external app-store subscriptions.

16. Third-Party Services

Homesteaders Circle relies on third-party services that may include authentication, hosting, storage, subscription management, app-store payments, and email delivery. Your use of some features may also be subject to terms imposed by Apple, Google, or other service providers. We are not responsible for third-party services beyond the extent required by applicable law.

17. Service Availability

We work to maintain reliable service but cannot promise uninterrupted availability. The service may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, internet failures, provider outages, security measures, or events beyond our reasonable control.

18. No Professional Advice

Homesteaders Circle is a connection platform. Information exchanged by members should not automatically be treated as professional medical, legal, financial, veterinary, agricultural, construction, safety, or other professional advice. Seek appropriately qualified assistance when needed, and exercise caution and the highest safety measures.

19. Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, HOMESTEADERS CIRCLE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL ALWAYS BE AVAILABLE; MEMBER INFORMATION IS ALWAYS ACCURATE; MEMBERS WILL BE COMPATIBLE; INTERACTIONS WILL BE SAFE; OR YOU WILL FORM A RELATIONSHIP, FRIENDSHIP, OR OTHER CONNECTION. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

20. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, LUCE CONSULTING GROUP LLC AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM USE OF THE SERVICE.

Any additional limitation, damages cap, consumer-law qualification, or jurisdiction-specific language should be finalized through legal review.

21. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for losses or claims resulting from your unlawful use of the service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of another person’s rights. Final indemnification language should be reviewed by legal counsel.

22. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms will be governed as specified in the final legally reviewed version.

23. Changes to These Terms
